Seamless Middle East

September 22 - 24, 2026
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Organized by Terrapinn

About This Event

Seamless Middle East is Terrapinn's flagship fintech and payments event for the MENA region, running in Dubai for 26 years and drawing banking, payments and commerce professionals from across the Gulf, Africa and South Asia; the franchise also stages Seamless Saudi Arabia in Riyadh. The 2026 fintech edition carries the official name Seamless Fintech ME and anchors the wider Seamless Middle East week, co-located with Seamless Digital Commerce, Shop Arabia and Home Delivery World - a single ticket grants entry to all shows. The 2026 edition runs under the patronage of UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

What happens at Seamless Middle East

  • A multi-hall exhibition spanning fintech, payments, identity and digital commerce - one of the largest expo floors in the regional fintech calendar, with an Identity Showcase for live solution demos.
  • A conference programme split across two dedicated fintech tracks - Seamless Fintech & Payments and Seamless Identity & Cards - alongside stages run by the co-located commerce shows.
  • The Investor Meet-up, a structured matchmaking format connecting fintech founders with regional venture and institutional investors.
  • A tiered networking programme: the Premium Networking Pass adds pre-bookable 1-to-1 meetings, speed networking, a premium lounge and the networking party and awards evening.

Who attends

Seamless draws the Gulf's monetary authorities and banking establishment in unusual density: the Central Bank of the UAE, Saudi Central Bank, Central Bank of Oman and Qatar Central Bank have all featured among participating institutions, alongside Gulf banking majors such as Emirates NBD, First Abu Dhabi Bank, ADIB and Kuwait Finance House, and international banks including HSBC, Standard Chartered, J.P. Morgan and Citi. The vendor and fintech side spans card networks and PSPs (Mastercard, Network International, Geidea, Tap Payments, Amazon Payment Services), BNPL leaders Tabby and Tamara, digital banks like Wio, Liv and Zand, and crypto platforms such as Binance. Typical job titles run from chief fintech officers and heads of digital banking to remittance product leads, payment scheme managers and fraud and identity specialists. Seamless is not a Western conference-circuit stop transplanted to the Gulf - it is the region's own institutional gathering, where GCC regulators, banks and PSPs set the agenda and global vendors come to them.

Dominant themes at Seamless Middle East 2026

  • Cross-border payments and remittances - the UAE-India and UAE-Pakistan corridors are among the world's largest, and remittance product leaders from Gulf banks are on the 2026 speaker roster.
  • Real-time payments - the UAE's Aani instant payment platform and the path toward GCC-wide interlinking.
  • Domestic card schemes - the Jaywan rollout and co-badging arrangements with international networks.
  • CBDC and stablecoins - the Digital Dirham programme and AED-backed stablecoin licensing under Central Bank of the UAE rules.
  • Open finance - implementation of the CBUAE Open Finance framework across banks and licensed financial institutions.
  • Digital identity and eKYC - UAE PASS adoption and the dedicated Seamless Identity & Cards track.
  • BNPL and consumer credit - Tabby and Tamara scaling in the post-licensing era.
  • AI in banking and payments - fraud prevention, onboarding and agentic payment flows, with bank AI leads speaking in 2026.

Planning to attend

The venue sits on Sheikh Zayed Road in central Dubai, with its own metro station and a short run from Dubai International Airport (DXB). The co-located week pulls five-figure attendance, so hotels along Sheikh Zayed Road and in Downtown Dubai fill earliest. The visitor pass is free, but premium networking tiers are capped and step up in price as the event approaches. Attendees mapping the September Gulf circuit often pair the Dubai week with Money20/20 Middle East in Riyadh the same month.
